Definition

Delegated acts supplement or modify certain non-essential provisions of a legislative act. Such acts are adopted by the Commission, under the supervision of the legislator – the European Parliament and/or the Council of the European Union – which may withdraw its delegation at any time (Article 290 TFEU).
